Rather than awarding prizes to the Top 3, bladers will instead receive GEARS linked to a variety of challenges.

    Why choose GEARS?

    We have many younger bladers who love to play with the bigger kids (and adults!), some even consistently making it to finals. However, we want GEARS to be a zero-pressure environment where winning isn't the priority.

    Whether you come first or last, everybody makes progress on their GEARS Tracker and has the opportunity to use those GEARS to claim cool rewards!

    GEARS Tracker?

    All of our bladers will receive a free booklet to keep their GEARS safe.
    Reaching milestones will allow bladers to claim rewards including limited stickers, exclusive merch and custom Beyblades straight from Japan!

    Who can play?

    We recommend ages 4-13, but this isn't a strict rule, and exceptions can occasionally be made for new bladers.

    Do I need my own Beys?

    To compete, all bladers will need 3 complete Beyblades, with no duplicate parts.
    But don't worry, we will have some loaner Beyblades and launchers for new bladers to borrow on the day.
    Our team is also happy to assist parents with finding places to buy their own Beyblades, so if you're not sure where to start, this is the best place to do so!

    What can I expect?

    Our Beyblade area is located downstairs.
    Parents are welcome to spectate battles or grab refreshments from our upstairs café. (A meal deal from the Europa Gaming Café is included with every GEARS ticket).
    Rules will be explained at the start of every battle by our judges.
    Bladers will play multiple battles, with the option to free-play between their tournament games.
    GEARS will be rewarded at the end of every session.
    So that Beyblade doesn't take up your whole day, we aim to finish our sessions by 12:30pm, but you are more than welcome to stay for the afternoon session too.

    Our sessions will follow the World Beyblade Organisation's Rules with slight amendments. You can find the full rulebook below:
